What's new in ZuluGIS. Most recent developments in 2023

ZuluGIS

  • There is a new label import feature that makes it easy to transfer label settings from one layer to another.
  • All geometric constructions that you do in the layer editor are now executed in full size, regardless of the projection.
  • The symbols have been brought to a single size, which is saved regardless of the layer projection on the computer, in the mobile and web versions of the program.
  • It has become more convenient to work with documents and photos connected to layer objects: we have added the Save button; the document window no longer blocks the map; when switching to a new object, if the window is open, the document in it is updated.
  • It has become easier to combine string fields and round numeric field data; now you can do it not only with SQL queries but also in the query constructor using the concatenation and rounding operator. Other mathematical and string operators supported by the DBMS used are executed in the same way.
  • It is now possible to enable settings that allow you to edit data in tables only from the mobile app as well as upload photos only from the phone camera.

ZuluServer

  • Now ZuluServer allows you to save information about your activity in the Windows event log, which lets you monitor how the service works using regular tools of the operating system.
  • There is also a new ZuluServer mode - Enhanced Security Mode, which allows you to configure the data security parameters of the environment more flexibly.
  • We have developed new features for assigning and setting passwords.
  • All successful and unsuccessful authorization attempts on the server can now be logged and limited.

Engineering calculations

  • We have added a new gas network element to ZuluGaz - a check valve.

These and other updates are described in the Change History section.
